Khod Labs / Tilipman Digital Rebrand
Before Khod: The Climb, the Crash, and the Rebrand

"We knew for a while that the brand couldn't keep riding my last name forever. But 2025 was the year we bet on Webflow Development Agency as a keyword. I'm not a betting man, but imagine you don't walk away once you placed it."
Founder Evgenii Tilipman built the agency's first name off his own last name, because there was nothing else to build it around yet. Every prospect who found "Tilipman Digital" read it the same way: a developer's shop.
A name that decided the business for us
So that's the work that came in. Strategy, brand positioning, and SEO sat on the services list from day one. Most buyers never took that side seriously enough to hire it. The dev work paid the bills. The rest sat on the shelf next to a name that had already told people what to buy.
A name the market couldn't pre-judge had been overdue for a long time. What wasn't settled was when to spend it. The old brand was in the middle of the best growth run it had ever had.
The climb: a 9x run on one bet
2025 went into a single positioning: Webflow Development Agency. The plan was content, not links or ads, buyer-intent guides built around questions like "what do the best B2B websites look like" and "examples of AI websites."
- 253 to 2,276 organic clicks/month, May to December 2025. A 9x run on search alone.
- Domain authority to 42, built on the backlinks that content earned.
- A full Webflow development guides section, plus a steady run of supporting articles.
Walking away from that positioning mid-run meant walking away from a growth curve still climbing. That's why the rebrand kept slipping every time it came up.
The crash that forced the call
February 2026 ended the debate. Organic clicks were down 73% for the month, concentrated in the pages that had carried the 2025 run.
That's the moment the year-long question stopped being hypothetical. The team stopped defending a name and a URL that had already turned, and committed to Khod.
The move cost traffic too
301 redirects went live on every URL when the domain moved from tilipmandigital.com to khod.io on June 22, 2026. The move still cost more of what February had already taken.
By September 2026, khod.io traffic sat at 454 clicks/month, about a fifth of the old December peak. On a traffic chart, the rebrand reads as a second crash stacked on the first one. That was the trade.
What the rebrand actually bought
Short term, lead volume dropped and traffic collapsed. What offset it:
- Lead quality is up. The people reaching out understand the full offer, strategy and design included, before they ever get on a call.
- Deal size and strategic fit have improved right along with it.
It bought a brand that finally matches the work behind it.
