Votre: From DeFi Mechanics to a $3.75M Seed-Backed Investor Narrative

Overview

Votre (formerly Collar Protocol) partnered with Tilipman Digital to support their website during a major positioning shift.

Collar Protocol originally positioned itself as a DeFi borrowing solution — “liquidity without liquidation,” with a protocol-first story focused on mechanics (market makers, liquidation avoidance, hedging, capped upside).

With the rebrand into Votre (French for “yours”), the positioning evolved into a more premium, wealth-first narrative: a safer, more controlled way for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and funds to access liquidity against Bitcoin.

Our role was to implement and support the website from the Webflow development standpoint, ensuring the build was responsive, scalable, and consistent as the brand matured and the company gained traction (including a publicly announced $3.75M seed round).

Product Goals and Objectives

The goal of the project was to support a rebrand from Collar Protocol → Votre, and ensure the website matched the new positioning:

• Move from a protocol/mechanics-heavy story to a trust-first, investor-grade narrative
• Speak directly to a more premium audience (HNW, family offices, funds)
• Present a clear value proposition: borrow against Bitcoin with a safer, more controlled approach
• Create a website foundation the team could evolve quickly inside Webflow

Redesign

The biggest change wasn’t visual — it was positioning.

Collar Protocol explained how the protocol works. Votrem, on the other hand, leads with what the audience gets: control, stability, security, and liquidity — without forcing the visitor to decode DeFi mechanics on first touch.

So the site experience was shaped around three priorities:

1. Clarity above the fold — explain the offer in plain language for non-crypto-native buyers
2. Trust and credibility — reinforce confidence through backers, team credibility, and proof elements
3. Objection handling — push deeper mechanics into structured sections and FAQs so the story stays readable

Webflow Development

We built and maintained the site in Webflow with a focus on clean responsiveness and long-term scalability.

• Implemented a rem-based sizing system so typography and spacing scale consistently across devices
• Ensured responsive behavior across breakpoints without breaking hierarchy or layout rhythm
• Supported performance and polish (including motion/interaction behavior) with a lightweight approach that keeps the site feeling smooth
• Recommended a tracking foundation (Google Analytics, Search Console, session recording) so the team can attribute traffic and conversions going forward
